AI provider (TenancyEngine)
Choose which AI vendor and model serve your organization's AI features, and optionally bring your own API key (BYOK).

Available to organization-scoped vendor admins. Platform operators manage per-application overrides and the platform-wide default under Organizations.
Choosing a provider
- Select your organization when you belong to more than one.
- Pick a vendor and, optionally, a specific model. Leave the model blank to use the recommended default for that vendor.
- Self-hosted / OpenAI-compatible endpoints require an
https://base URL that's reachable from the internet — loopback and private addresses are refused.
Bring your own key (BYOK)
Paste your own vendor API key to pay that vendor directly instead of billing against your platform AI credits. The key is encrypted at rest and can never be read back — to change it, paste a new one. Only the last 4 characters are ever shown again.
Use Remove my API key to fall back to platform-pooled billing while keeping your provider/model choice, or Reset to default to clear the configuration entirely.
Scope
This page sets your organization's default. Individual applications can override it from that application's own settings (managed by platform operators today).
